Cruises generally start on Saturday at 2.00 pm and finish at 12.00 hrs on the date shown. Thus on a typical cruise you have 6 nights on board but you are sailing on 7 days. The price per cruise is fully inclusive and covers a berth & bedding and all meals on board.  The only cash you will need will be for your drinks aboard, shopping - if we find a shop! and maybe a postcard!  Special discounts are available for families or large parties who wish to charter the whole yacht, and such charters need not be bound by the dates on the booking form.

It is best to check the availability before you book and you can ring us at any time (evenings are often best) or you can email us from our enquiry page. The 6 day cruises are all different, as wind and weather dictate both distance and direction, and while we range from Gigha in the south to Skye in the north, we often visit islands such as Jura, Staffa, Ulva, Canna & Mull.

On cruise No.9 (12 days) we can be much more ambitious the outline objective will be to visit St Kilda and the Monarch isles if the weather is suitable – failing that we can head much further north and probably go right round Skye and visit the Outer Hebrides or even the Summer Isles.

*The Classic Malts Cruise (Cruise 11 & 12) is a world famous event involving up to 100 yachts from all over the world, included in the fee is the World Cruising Club cruise fee including Whisky nosings parties at Oban, Talisker (week 1) and Lagavulin (week 2) and Classic Malts Regalia.  As this is a two week cruise we are offering it as two separate cruises for folk who can only manage one week you are welcome to book both weeks of course!  The first week starts in Oban and finishes in Mallaig and the second week starts in Mallaig and finishes in Oban.  Note that the second week may get back to Oban later on the Friday as we have to return from Islay.

Conditions of Booking

1. A reservation is effective only on the receipt of a deposit of £175 per berth per week. Written confirmation of receipt will be sent by email or post as soon as practicable stating the balance payable.

2. The balance payable must be received no later than 45 days prior to the date of embarkation. Otherwise we will assume that you have cancelled your booking.

3. If you cancel your booking half the deposit will be refunded provided that we are able to re-let your berth(s); otherwise you are liable for the total balance payable. (Holiday cancellation insurance is obtainable from your insurance broker or travel agent normally for less than £10 and is highly recommended.)

4. If we are obliged to cancel the cruise for any reason beyond our reasonable control, your deposit and any other fees paid will be returned without any further liability whatsoever to the owners.

5. The yacht's insurance does not cover you for any injury, damage or loss to you or your property not attributable to our negligence or any defect in the yacht. You are recommended to check your existing insurance cover.

6. During the cruise you and your party are members of the crew. For safety and operational reasons you must obey the instructions of the skipper at all times in all matters concerning the operation and running of the yacht. The skipper's decision on all such matters is final.

7. The normal minimum age limit for children is 18 if unaccompanied, 12 if accompanied unless the whole boat is booked when younger children are welcome. All charterers should be reasonably fit and free from any medical or disabilities.  Please let us know of any dietary requirements and we will try to accommodate you. (Please phone if you have any queries).
